Chevrolet Beat Facelift revealed
A facelifted spy picture of Chevrolet Beat was unveiled in the MotorVikatan website. The front part of the facelift is found to be hidden. This model is quite different from the 2013 Chevrolet Spark launched by General Motors in USA. The engine specifications are not known. There is a speculation that GM will introduce the new Ecotec engines in the new Chevrolet Beat too.
Ecotec engines have capacities varying from 1 to 1.5 litre. It also has got 3 and 4-cylider variants. The front and back bumpers are redesigned. The fog lamps are new. The interior will also be restyled. There will be a change in the looks of the headlamps. The front grille carrying the Chevrolet emblem is hexagonal in shape.
There is a slight variation in the design of rearview mirrors too. Chevrolet has plans to launch a fully electric model of Chevrolet Spark named as Spark EV. Ford Figo and Maruti Ritz are the main rivals of Chevrolet Beat in Indian auto world market. Chevrolet sail is another new car from GM to look out for in the Indian auto world.
