Mercedes Benz C-Class AMG Performance Edition launched in India
Mercedes Benz launched the all new 2012 C-Class 250CDI AMG performance edition premium sedan in Indian auto world. It has got a 2143cc 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine. This diesel engine can generate a maximum power of 204bhp with a peak torque of 500Nm. Currently BMW is selling more luxury cars in India than Mercedes Benz.
The front brakes are perforated disk type. Side sill panels are another major highlight of this vehicle. AMG which provides the AMG Sports Package is the performance partner of Mercedes Benz. Fuel efficiency is the major highlight of this car. It has got 17 inch 5 spoke light alloy wheels. The Mumbai ex-showroom price tag of this sedan is around 34.62 lakhs.
The instrument cluster with 3 dials adds beauty to the interior. The gearshift has got an aluminum coating. The black floor mats have the AMG emblem designed on it. Mercedes Benz C-Class AMG also offers smooth handling for the drivers. It also has a fresh sporty look.
The dashboard is also redesigned. AMG Sports pedals are brushed with stainless steel. Nappa leather coats the entire steering wheel. Paddle shift feature is also available. AMG Sports Package provides sports suspension to C-Class 250CDI. The stainless steel exhaust is a good attraction. This model will surely be a good rival for the latest cars of Audi and BMW in the auto world.
