Samsung launched Chromebook and Chromebox with latest Chrome OS
Samsung announced the launch of Chromebook and Chromebox with the latest Chrome OS inside. This is a joint project of Google and Samsung. The Chromebook named as Samsung Series 5 550 is a portable notebook. The screen size is 12.1 inches. A 1.3 GHz Intel Celeron 867 dual core processor powers the Chromebook. It also has Intel HD 3000 Graphics. There are 2 variants of Chromebook. One model has got both Wi-Fi and 3G; the other one has got only Wi-Fi.
The Samsung Series 3 Chromebox is actually a miniPC. A 1920*1200 pixel resolution monitor can be connected to it. A 1.9 GHz Intel Celeron B840 dual core processor is running inside it. It also has Google Chrome OS installed inside. Intel HD graphics 3000 provides graphic capabilities. The RAM size is 4GB. The Chromebox also comes with a Keyboard. Bluetooth Keyboard is optional. It will have a price tag of $329.
